SENIOR INTERCLUB EXPECTATIONS

It necessary to remind all players about the etiquette of Senior Interclub.

·         Senior Interclub is a team competition and if you commit to being a member of a team you must be available to play the matches scheduled. It has become a very difficult task for the captains to be regularly finding replacements for their players. If you are scheduled to play a match but are unable to fulfil the commitment, and this should happen on occasion, not regularly, you must inform your captain in good time and the onus is on you to find your own replacement.

·         Players are also expected to stay and support their team mates and attend the match tea at the conclusion of play even if their own games have finished earlier. If it is a home match all team members are required to bring a plate of food for the after match tea.

·         The above expectations apply to all team members including Juniors who have been permitted to play Senior Interclub.

·         As with last season, Captains will be required to enter team results via the internet after each match. This will be explained to the new captain and has proved to be no problem.

·         REMEMBER, EVERYONE HAS TO HAVE A TURN AT BEING THE CAPTAIN.
